Now, what does and/or mean?  Well, if you want to make the raw edge roses only, 

you can come on March 3. 

If you want to make the rag quilt (it does not have to use the roses) you can come on March 17.

If you want to make the raw edge roses AND turn them into a rag quilt, 

you can come to both days.
